Alexa Kripli
Graphic Designer and Visual Development Artist
Hello! Welcome to my Graphic Design portfolio. Here, I showcase many projects showcasing my composition, typography, and color theory working together to create inspiring and efficient artwork. My experience with the Adobe suite is extensive, especially Photoshop, and I am always learning new techniques and workflows. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Digital Animation and Game Design, which taught me many different mediums of art and design and the intentions behind each and every design choice.

Magazine Concept
A concept of a magazine article I made in InDesign about Agatha Christie. I wanted to give this article a modern and artistic style to contrast with the older vintage look of the photos. Highlighting the author's love for her craft and stories through bright colors and whimsical accents.

OneTwoHop
Brochure, Banner, and Business Card Designs
I created some graphic assets for a client whose company makes medical socks for pets. They needed a new website banner design, a business card design, and a 4x4 brochure design. I created illustrations of pets wearing the socks, and then in Canva I created and assembled the other graphical assets. I kept the graphic design simple to highlight the detailed animal illustrations and put the focus on the pets and socks.

Packaging Concept : Tea Subscription
A packaging design concept inspired by a fictional subscription service that provides curated tea. The packaging design here is meant to give an organic and down to earth feel, with possibly recycled materials used for the cardboard packaging. I kept the natural texture and color of the packaging, which further emphasizes the nature theme with simple leaf accents, also a reference to tea leaves. I used a warm accent color, similar to the color of tea to contrast the green. The circle shape represents a tea stain from a mug, and the square shape represents a tea bag.

Website Banner Advertisements
Concepts featuring various versions and sizes of banner advertisements you might see on a website. "Veggie Fuel" is a fictional food service providing plant based meals and ingredients. Green provides both relaxation and a feeling of nature, emphasizing the organic and earthly intention of the service. Soft curves imply easiness and natural shapes, while providing artistic contrast and layers of color.

Twin Peaks Shirt Design
I created a design inspired by the rustic and cozy vibe of the town of Twin Peaks. I wanted this shirt to feel like it came from a gift shop nestled in the heart of the town. I used desaturated forest colors and distinct silhouette graphics to showcase the iconic mountain range that gives the town its name.

Cooper's Coffee Shop Concept
After watching through Twin Peaks, I wanted to create a logo for a coffee shop inspired by the show. This shop would represent Agent Dale Cooper's almost uncanny love for coffee and his enthusiasm for good quality "joe". I chose some coffee-inspired colors, emphasizing the warmth and earthiness of coffee grounds. The mug is accented by a plume of steam that reveals the symbolic douglas fir trees, representing a spooky element within the town.

Surf's Up T-shirt Design
This design is inspired by the laid-back beachy vibes of a surf shop, combined with the iconic characters and artwork from the animated movie "Surf's Up". This was made as a gift for a family member.

Elden Ring and Dark Souls T-Shirt Designs
I created designs to be put onto shirts for myself and friends who are fans of the games Elden Ring and Dark Souls. The designs are simple and feature silouettes, which creates contrast and lends itself to crisp printing quality.

Travel Guide Concept
A concept of a travel magazine cover, with a focus on the region called the West Indies. This region is part of the Carribbean, and I wanted to represent the warm tropical feel within a cleaner and modern art style. The vibrant colors provide depth, while simple shapes and gradients imply relaxed simplicity and rest.
